II.4) SHORT DESCRIPTION OF NATURE AND SCOPE OF WORKS: The Redevelopment
of a Grade 2* Listed Royal Shakespeare Theatre (RST) and Swan Theatre
which lie on the banks of the River Avon at the heart of the RSC's Estate
in Stratford Upon Avon.It should be noted that the contract is on a
construction management basis, in addition to this the client wishes each
package to have one appointed contractor only. Working largeley with the
externals of the redevelopment.

wallings.

necessary), insulation board, breather membranes and vapour barriers,

external brickwork. All new blockwork to internal partitions at basement
level. Supply and install all windposts, ties, fixings and DPC to all new
brickwork and blockwork.

colonade. Curtain walling to tower link facade. Vertical strip glazing to

North, East and West Elevations. New punch windows to to levels S+2 & S+3.
Glazed doors to Riverside dressing room block. Glazed doors and smoke
