strategic accommodation change Stourbridge College is searching for a plot
of land in the Stourbridge vicinity on which to develop a new state of the
art college. The criteria for the site requirements are as follows:
Location within 1 mile of Stourbridge Town Centre. Site should benefit
from good transport links in particular having proximity to local train
and bus networks. Planning use should be capable of Education development.
Surrounding land uses should be sympathetic with educational development.
The aquisition of the site should present no onerous issues that may
affect delivery of the new facility. The site could be in a location that
may enable it to benefit from leverage of external funds ie regeneration.
the topography of the site should be flat and with no obvious geotechnical
or archaelogical implications that can reasonably be assessed without
intrusive survey. The site should benefit form a good level of servicing
and infrastructure. The site should extend to a minimum of 2 acres.
