SECTION VI: COMPLEMENTARY INFORMATION
VI.1) CONTRACT RELATED TO A PROJECT AND/OR PROGRAMME FINANCED BY
COMMUNITY FUNDS: No.
VI.2) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The value in item II.2.1 refers to the
total spend associated with the 4 Lots per annum. For each Lot, the figure
for the initial estimated total value of the contract in item V.4 was the
envisaged spend of the total of the 4 Lots per annum. Regarding Lot 1 -
Facilities Contract, rates were submitted for Schedule of Rates 1
(Programmed Planned Maintenance), 5 (Dedicated Facilities Manager), 6
(Dedicated 'Man & A Van') and 7 (Dedicated Transit Van). The lowest and
highest offers submitted reflected the range of scenarios Centro
considered that were most appropriate for the award of this Lot. Following
receipt of compliant bids, Centro selected the alternative proposal
submitted by the successful tenderer that consisted of Schedule of Rates
1, 5 and 6 (x2) and a high level lamping provision as well as a dedicated
auto-door engineer. The final value of the contract award for this Lot
included an allowance of £50,000.00 + VAT for reactive works. In relation
to Lot 2 - Civils contract, Schedules of Rates were compared and the
successful tenderer was appointed having been the lowest in the majority
of submitted rates. The total final value of the contract in V.4 reflects
the budget for the first year of the contract. Three companies originally
tendered for Lot 3 - Heavy Clean Contract. The company that submitted the
lowest offer were invited to an interview to confirm their understanding
of the specification. Following the interview they withdrew their bid from
the tender process and Centro then accepted the next lowest offer of the
two remaining bids. The lowest offer and highest offer reflect the range
of the two remaining bids only. In relation to Lot 4 - Shelter
Maintenance, Schedules of Rates were compared and the successful tenderer
was appointed having been the lowest in the majority of submitted rates.
The total final value of the contract in V.4 reflects the budget for the
first year of the contract.
