II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): The Corrib
natural gas field is being developed as a subsea tie back to an onshore
processing facility. The gas will be piped ashore from the offshore wells
to a gas processing terminal at Bellanaboy Bridge, Co. Mayo, West of
Ireland, where it will be processed before it enters the Bord Gáis Éireann
national network. The field will provide up to 60 % of Irelands gas needs
at peak supply. Shell E&P Ireland Ltd ("Shell"), as operator of the Corrib
Gas Terminal will require logistics services throughout the operational
phase of the terminal. These logistics services shall include but not be
limited to: - Provision of logisitics planning to minimise road
transportation of spares, consumables, equipment, fluids and chemicals, -
Provision of road transportation for a wide range of cargo types; and -
Provision of a cargo assembly point.
