management service within South Holland District Council is provided by
the Construction Services Unit, which provides the response and void
maintenance service and some planned maintenance work to around 4000
properties in the South Holland District. The aim is to establish a
Service Level Agreement with a preferred service provider for Building
Materials to SHDC. The intention is that by working with a preferred
partner we are able to work together to deliver a consistant, high quality
procurement service which has a focus on supporting existing maintenance
and asset management functions and targets through improving efficiences,
reducing costs, increasing long term customer satisfaction, and achieving
sustainable property management solutions that will minimise, as far as is
practicable, the whole life cost implications upon SHDC's maintenance and
housing management budgets.
