contract for a Host Organisation for Local Involvement Network (LINk). The
host organisation will be responsible for the establishment, maintenance
and support of a LINk in each Unitary Authority area. The role of the host
organisation will be to promote and support the involvement of local
people in the commissioning, provision and scrutiny of local health and
social care services. The host organisation will be required to recruit
members to the LINk and, once established, support the ongoing activities
of the LINk.
