III.1) CONDITIONS RELATING TO THE CONTRACT
III.1.1) Deposits and guarantees required: Deposits, guarantees, bonds or

23 to 29 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 and as set out in the

necessary for evaluating if requirements are met: In accordance with
Articles 45 to 52 of Directive 2004/18/EC and Regulation 24 of the Public

Minimum level(s) of standards possibly required: For proposed construction
sub-contractors, an annual turnover and/or asset base of in excess of £50
000 000 is required. For proposed facilities management sub-contractors,

VI.3) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The Authorities are jointly procuring
through the UK Government's Private Finance Initiative the North West Fire
and Rescue Services PFI Project involving the design, build, financing and
operation of new fire stations and associated facilities at various
locations in Merseyside, Cumbria and Lancashire. Merseyside Fire and
Rescue Authority is acting as lead authority in the procurement on behalf
of the other Fire and Rescue Authorities.
A pre-qualification questionnaire and descriptive document containing more
information about the project is available from Colin Schofield at the
address shown in Section I.1. There will be a market briefing day for the
project which will be held on Wednesday 13.8.2008 at Aintree Racecourse,
Ormskirk Road, Liverpool, L9 5AS. Parties interested in attending the
market briefing day should contact Colin Schofield at the address shown in
Section I.1 for more details. Requests to participate must be made by way
of completion and return of the pre-qualification questionnaire to the
address set out in Annex A by 10:00 hours on Friday 12.9.2008.
