II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Supply of
electricity for 1 year operation of the UK-Continent Gas Interconnector
Zeebrugge Terminal (IZT). Annual power consumption up to 36GWh, with a
maximum instantaneous offtake of 75MW, but with a typical load of 55MW.
Power consumption is variable with most required during the winter months.
The Terminal electrical system is directly connected to the Elia 150kV
grid at Blondeelaan. Scope to cover energy supply, balancing and other
related charges, but excluding grid cpacity.
