requirement is for national framework agreements to be let by the National
Working party for laboratory Supplies (NWPLS) for access by the UK Higher
Education Regional Consortia and Research Councils and other public sector
organisations (by application only). Framework agreements will be for the
supply and service of pipettes to include spares and branded consumables.
The requirement will be let in 4 lots and tenders will be considered for
all or any of the lots.

II.2.1) Total quantity or scope: The requirement will cover manual &
electronic, single & multi channel pipettes to include those that are
autoclavable. Ergonomically designed equipment with RSI issues in mind
will be included. Servicing, repair and calibration of pipetting equipment
is included, only UKAS accredited companies will be considered. The supply
of spares and branded consumables will also be included.

II.3) DURATION OF THE CONTRACT OR TIME-LIMIT FOR COMPLETION: Duration in
months: 48 (from the award of the contract).
