SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
II.1) DESCRIPTION
II.1.1) Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority:
Training Provision for Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply
Qualifications Levels 3-6.

II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): RBT is inviting
bids for training provision of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and
Supply (CIPS) Qualifications from suitably accredited organisations in
CIPS. This will involve the provision of in-house training at the site of
the appropriate public bodies and / or organisations along with an
e-learning package and all associated training materials. Suppliers must
be at least an approved study centre as assessed by The Chartered
Institute of Purchasing and Supply. Suppliers must also be able to tutor
and provide training for Levels 3, 4, 5 & 6 CIPS Qualifications.
Although the contracting authority for the purpose of this notice is
Rotherham Borough Council, it is intended that other contracting
authorities will be able to avail themselves of the goods or services
provided by the appointed contractor under the framework agreement between
the appointed contractor and the Council. Where another contracting
authority orders goods or services under the framework agreement, the
Council will act as the contracting authority’s agent and the contracting
authority will have a direct contractual relationship with the appointed
contractor.
The estimated value of this framework with RBT alone is approximately 100
000 GBP.

respect of the activities which are of a similar type to the subject
matter of this notice.
