II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Broxbourne Housing Association (BHA) is the largest provider of social housing in the Borough of Broxbourne having accepted transfer of approximately 4 500 units of housing stock from the local authority in January 2006. BHA is seeking to improve the works and services it provides to its residents and is therefore seeking to appoint up to 14 suitably experienced and qualified partner contractors to deliver its planned maintenance and regeneration programmes. Works and services to be included under the framework agreement will include: Planned maintenance to carry out general builders work including, but not limited to doors, kitchens, bathrooms and associated services; specialist electrical works; specialist gas and heating works and lifts upgrades. The general builders work lot may include two estate regeneration / re modelling contracts. In order to promote a partnering relationship, BHA intend to procure the works and services pursuant to as framework agreement and NEC call-off contract. Contractors should note that call-off contracts may last beyond the life of the framework agreement.
